Forex: AUD/USD ends the week below 1.0300

The Australian dollar has continued to lose ground against the greenback during the American afternoon, weighed by broad losses in stocks and commodities and is on track to close the week below the 1.0300 mark.

After being rejected by a 1-week high at the 1.0375 area on Friday, AUD/USD resumed the decline and having lost about 90 pips throughout the day it recently printed a 3-day low of 1.0285. At time of writing, AUD/USD is trading around 1.0290, down 0.6% on the day, but only marginally lower this week.
