Germany: Annual CPI declines for the second running month in June

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by Destatis, German annual inflation rose 1.9% in July, following 1.8% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis German CPI climbed 0.5% in July, after increasing 0.1% in June, as expected.

Year-over-year German HICP rose 1.9% in July, following +1.9% in June. On a monthly basis HICP grew 0.4% in July, following a 0.1% increase in June. Both results are in line with expectations.

Germany: July Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (YoY) grows 1.9%; (MoM) up 0.4%

Germany: Wholesale Price Index drops 0.3% in July

The German Wholesale Price Index fell 0.3% in July, following a 0.4% decline the previous month, Destatis informed on Tuesday. Analysts expected a 0.1% rise.
