AUD/USD hits fresh lows under 0.9300

FXStreet (Córdoba) - As the US dollar gained momentum across the board the AUD/USD slipped further and fell back below 0.9300. Recently the price hit a fresh low at 0.9293, the lowest price since last Thursday. Greenback is rising considerably across the board, particularly against commodity currencies.

The pair is losing ground after rising in the previous two trading days and is now approaching last week lows that lie at 0.9274. If it falls below it would be trading at the lowest price since early June.

AUD/USD technical levels

To the downside, immediate support could be located at 0.9275/80 (August 1 low) and below here at 0.9250. To the upside, resistance now might lie at 0.9325 and above here at 0.9340/45 (daily high).

USD/JPY pressing down through pivot

USD/JPY is trading at 102.63 having posted a daily high at 102.94 and low at 102.46.
